Indiana Bar Foundation Civics Summit Event

We, The Remnant Trust, want to express our sincere appreciation for the opportunity to participate in the Indiana Civics Summit, a highly successful one-day conference hosted by the Indiana Bar Foundation on April 13. The event brought together leaders from national, regional, state, and local sectors, including government, education, business, and the legal community. Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, a distinguished Hoosier, served as a featured speaker, sharing her extensive public service journey. Another keynote speaker was Dr. Richard Haass, President of the Council on Foreign Relations, who virtually presented his insights on global affairs and civic responsibilities. Summit sessions delved into crucial topics such as the case for civic education in Indiana, the national civics landscape, perspectives from educators, the business case for civics, and the legal community’s role in civic engagement. Notable moderators and panelists, including Charles Dunlap, Shawn Healy, and Tim Kalgreen, facilitated engaging discussions, contributing to a vibrant exchange of ideas. The event underscored the importance of collaboration and informed citizenship, leaving a lasting impact on attendees.
