Ashbrook Center — Fall 2023

This fall, we present a display of a number of original documents in the Peter Schramm Library at Ashbrook. Some texts on display are: one of the five remaining copies of the United States Constitution that were sent to the states, Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave, Thomas Paine’s Common Sense. Students are allowed, even encouraged, to pick up the texts and flip through the pages. Faculty are able to use them in classes as well. This is a fantastic addition to the great education Ashbrook Scholars receive!
